さて、楽しい時間はあっという間にすぎてしまうものでございます。

そろそろお開きの時間が近づいてまいりました。ここでお二人から皆様へお礼のご挨拶がございます。

皆様、本日はお忙しい中、私たちの結婚式二次会に参加していただいて本当にありがとうございます。
なかなか準備がうまくいかず、ギリギリになってから、スピーチなどをお願いすることもあり、大変迷惑をおかけしてしまったのに、快く承諾し準備してくださった友人には、本当に感謝の気持ちしかありません。
Thank you for coming to our wedding after party today. I really appreciate all my friends who agree to give speeches even though I asked on such short notice.
今まで、つらい時や弱音を吐きたくなったときは、いつも家族や友人に相談にのってもらったり、助けられてばかりいた私が、アメリカで生活することになり、なかなか簡単に会える距離ではなくなることは、正直、すごく寂しいです。今までどれほど支えられてきたか、皆様の存在の大きさを、離れて改めて感じています。
My friends and family always supported me when I had hard times. And since I moved to USA, I miss them so much because it’s not so easy to meet them. I realized how much important they are to me and how much they supported me after I left Japan.
とはいっても、半年に一度は日本へ帰ってもいいよという、彼の承諾も頂けたので、帰ったときは、ルー大柴のようになっていても、どうか相手をしてやってください。
But he said it’s ok for me to come back to Japan once every six months, so please hang out with me when I came back.
こんなにもお世話になっている日本の友人に、なかなか彼を紹介する機会が作れなかったので、こんな形ですが、少し彼のことを紹介します。
I haven’t had a chance to introduce him to all my friends, so I’ll introduce him briefly.
彼とは、私がアメリカへ留学している時に知り合いました。
I met him when I stayed in USA on the Study abroad.
最初出逢った頃は、英語もおぼつかず、日本人特有のアクセントもあり、たわいもない会話をするのも一苦労でした。
At first, it was very hard to have a conversation because my English wasn’t very good and I had a Japanese accent.
そんな中、彼はとても辛抱強く、私の言いたいことが理解できるまで、ゆっくり時間がかかっても耳を傾けてくれます。
But he is very patient and listens to me very carefully until he understands what I want to say.
こんなにも私のことを大切に考え、愛してくれる人を私も大切にしたいと思い、結婚を決めました。
I decided to marry with because I truly want to take care of this person who cares for me and love me so much.
もちろん、言葉の壁や文化の違いでぶつかることはありますし、簡単なことではありません。
It’s not easy because we come from different cultures and speak different languages,
でも彼となら、一緒に乗り越えていけると確信しています。
but I’m sure we can get past these challenges together. My life has changed since I met him. We’ll support each other and make a happy family.
今日、ここに集まってくれた皆様は、私達夫婦にとって大切な方々ばかりです。
I want to let you know that you all here are very important to us.
どうぞ今後も、私達を温かく見守っていただければと思います。今後とも、よろしくお願いいたします！本日は本当にありがとうございました！
